  Do people really go here. I chanced it but never again... I ask you... what is the point of a carvery... meat carved so thin that you can use it as tracing paper. The look of Mr Bumble and Peggy Mount in Oliver when I dared ask FOR MORE...
  Do you know the scene in GOODFELLAS where they are in prison and the don is finely chopping the garlic... this must be their training video.
  It wasn't just the meat that was in short supply...smiles from the staff too. Where do they get them from.
  I could go on about the dryness of the pie on the hot plate... looked like it had been out all day. Or the dried up stuffing. I did give the Vale Royal 1 star as it was so easy to find a parking space. We were the only car on the car park... I wonder why...

  Been here a lot, only because it's close to college. The food is good served is okay, that is if you receive it within an hour if ordering. The staff are kind but if you have an issue with anything they're not likely to chase it up and offer an apology For example when they miss hear you, it's tough luck.
  
  The tables and area is clean, but the plates and cutlery are never washed, I've always needed to go back and ask for another. Once I used a spoon with dried curry sauce on the bottom... Lovely.
  
  This place will be okay for families, but large parties may cause a big backlog of orders as the kitchen seams to be run by hamsters on wheels...
  
  Chips are nice though​.

  I have been to this place a lot and its gone from brilliant to turning up on a Thursday at half 6 and them having no meat left for the carvery. Every time I come now I ring up and ask if there is still meat available. Today's outing lead to a 10 minute wait because they had nobody to serve the food. The waitress is the only A* staff member here, she was basically running the place.

  Depends on the time of day, sometimes the food is dry and looks like it's been there a while. Other times fantastic. Carvery staff disappear frequently and you have to wait ages for them. Seems to get worse after every visit.
